This sounds good, I should be there.

Got to be back up on cap hill at 3ish. A friend is having a screening of Pink Floyd's "the wall". Never seen it and he was *astonished* I didn't want to drop $200 on a ticket when it rolled through town a couple months back. I was "hey, I saw lazer floyd."

Cool story, bro.

Anyway, a good time was had by all. We had way more fun than Larry. Especially Monica.

I have to admit, I think I may have chosen.......poorly. At least I did pick up a Campy front hub for my restoration project. I felt like I had to buy *something* to justify the trip.

$100 total for all of it at the BikeWorks sale. The Miyata 312 is gonna be my brother's first road bike.

I got these for $3 at Kyleen's suggestion:

I realize the intricacies of human interaction are often lost on many of God's Special Children that ride in .83, so let me drop a subtle clue: Talking about all the fun you had NOT someone else's ride/event -- in the thread for their ride/event in particular -- MAY be considered a dick thing to do.

Ex.: "Hey, Fred! I was going to come to your birthday party, but then I decided I'd rather watch American Idol and wait to die."

Larry, sorry I couldn't make the ride. Had some a birthday thing for a friend and some sorely needed bike maintenance to get done, but I'm glad you're doing these again. I'm really looking forward to catching one in the future, particularly now that the weather's starting to get a bit better.

Mr. Grover's right and it would be terribly uncouth of me to remind folks that if you aren't going to PDX MiniBike on Feb. 19 that both the Redwood Plan and Summer Babes will be rocking that evening at the Tractor Tavern in Ballard.

If you are going to PDX minibike winter, you can come on a bike sabbath ride and I'll even lead it. Hint: It will involve both dirt and brew pubs.
