so... let me get this straight
Five little piggys sit down to eat five bowls of porridge.
The biggest little piggy gets up to get a glass of water
But while he's gone, the littlest little piggy gobbles his porridge alllll up
Unfortunately the littlest little piggy is... just a little piggy
And his little tummy starts to hurt
OOOHHHH AAAHHHH he moans
and then he dies because he ate too much porridge.
The End

That is good design.
I got The Plug dynamo charger that lives in the same place on my Bad Monkey. I used the same technique this guy did - removable compression plug to pre-load the headset. It's not a great fix but it works.
I realize there's not enough call for it, but it made me wish they made a stem pre-load bench tool. I can wrench the shit out of that stem bolt all I want, but I can still pull it (and many a star nut) right out of the steerer with what feels like not THAT much torque.

Daytime running lights anyone?
Two of my dyno headlights are mounted under front rack/baskets. I can reach them but can't see the switches. Nowadays with LED lights I just leave them on all the time, yeah i appreciate the option to turn them off but I never seem to need to do that while riding.
Battery lights I like to be able to turn on and off to conserve battery life but why bother on a dyno system.
I can see having a switch if you are charging via USb but then want to turn on your headlights but I don't have one of those systems and it seems like that would only be a need on a long tour.

Yeah, I leave my lights on all the time. BUT, because the CYO has such a stong horizontal cutoff, I'd love a second "high beam" dyno light that I could switch on or off from the bars.
I like the pushbutton idea, I wonder if it is any better/worse or jsut different than the rotary switch I've seen pictured on a couple of Herses?

It *looks* very nice. However, my main concern is moisture seepage. I don't know about the rest of you guys, when when I'm cranking away, I get a bit sweaty, and drop right on my stem. Having a button there controlling power and throwing in salty water in the mix seems like a recipe for a bad switch in short order.
