Anyone have experience gluing/re-gluing a tubeless setup? I have a pair of really nice Mavic Ksyriums that have been set up tubeless with Michelin Mud's and Stan's rim strips. I want to use the wheelset again but I have no experience gluing tubeless tires (I bought the wheelset that way with a bike). Trying to decide if it's worth it to clean up and re-glue, or if I just want to take off the rim strips and put tubes in there like the good old days.

Lemme know if you can help. thanks :)

I'm not sure glue enters into the equation at all. Are you talking about sealant? Or are people actually gluing the bead onto the rim?

CX magazine has a nice 3-part series on tubeless for CX, including DIY solutions like you have.

Glue? Sealant? I'm not sure. There's some form of gummy residue on the tire and the rim. It's a Mavic rim with Stan's Rim Strips if that matters... "JFGI" is unhelpful, and I'm broke, so I can't afford the services of a professional.

Have you gone to the source yet?

Other than that, just take the stan's strip and valve out, clean the wheels and just run tubes again.
