I'm organizing an EASY 3-day booze and cruise trip for this upcoming Memorial Day weekend. Through my server job I've met a couple winery owners and have been offered VIP treatment if I make it out there. I'd like to DRIVE THERE, stay in town at a cheap motel, and ride the surrounding area getting pissed drunk on fine wines for a couple days. Not planning on requiring any additional time off, so anticipate a Friday PM departure with a Monday return day.

Would you like to join us?

If the touring bike is done by then, I may be highly interested in this venture.

Waiting to hear if we're shooting Sasquatch again this year for work, but if not then definitely IN! I have always wanted to feast my eyes upon Walla Walla Washington!

you won't need anything more than you'd commute with. Daily mileage of <20miles, with evenings spent in local bars, a pool (hoping), or hotel-partying.

I'll test the waters more in early April because it'd be cool to get a block of rooms

Are you talking about riding to to Walla Walla or driving?

If the latter, than I am a strong maybe.

Hey, if we drive out there, I also support that.

Riding and Wining in Walla Walla is awesome, highly recommended!

Went there last fall and had a blast. If plans/weather don't shape up for backpacking in the Olympics on Memorial Day weekend, may be joinin' in on this trip.

I'm still interested. Not sure if I'd be departing from Seattle or Ellensburg, but my bike and I will probably need to get a ride with someone.

okay, going on the experience of others with airbnb.com , I found this;

http://www.airbnb.com/rooms/270371

$100/head for the weekend's lodgings. That's way cheaper than any hotel. Get with me, it's time to make some commitments while things are still available to rent
