(on a brand new frame & brand new BB)
After tightening the non-drive side with a torque wrench I have a slight gap between the BB flange and the frame (little less than a millimeter).
What's the deal, is this normal?

Probably relevant.

I ended up adding a BB shim to the drive side. Partly to close the gap on the left side, and partly because the absolute lower limit of my front derailleur wasn't low enough to reliably kick the chain down to my granny chainring. Whoops, probably should have used a 113mm instead of 110mm.

Anyway, I just shifted everything attached to the BB right ~1mm and it's all good now.
