Does anybody know of a place (retail, preferrably) to get small-gauge wiring that would be suitable to run a dynamo tail light? I've been to the hacker shop and radio shack, and they're all seem bewildered that I would ask for such small gauge wire.

JRA at 84th and 8 ave NW typically has wire on hand. What gauge are you looking for?

Small enough to run inside the rolled edge of a fender. I may get a lazy and gorilla-tape it to the underside of the fender.

sounds like possibly 22 or 24ga? Insulated or non?
When in doubt, Fry's Electronics. Just don't buy a computer there.

22 or 24 AWG insulated is probably what I'm looking for.
I'm not riding to Renton to go to Fry's. I'll try with the boat people first, then probably resort to the internet.

I gotta head down there for some work stuff, so I could pick up a spool of something if you want. How much you need? You'd have to show up on a ride to grab it, though.

I don't think you'll find it at the boat stores. Most boat wire is in the 10-18 gauge range. I'll check next time I'm in Fisheries Supply if you like, I seem to be there 2-3 times per week (often enough that the normal cashier knows my account without having to ask me).
I haven't had good luck finding wire similar to what comes with the B&M taillights. Even Digikey and Mouser don't stock it.

My tail light didn't come packaged with wiring this time around. I've considered use headphones wiring, but I don't think it's long enough nor stout enough.
I just checked amazon - they have a spool of 100' of 22 AWG stranded for $15, Amazon Prime. Looks like that'll work just fine.
