At least the Sugino stuff on there is 1/8, which while not 3/32", it's pretty dang close.
that is strictly one directional fudging you're proposing

I don't even want a track bike, but for the price of that frame I might buy it. Don't make me buy this. You should buy it.

i can do 8s really cheaply if you don't really need 9. I just sold my 9sp ones to another friend who had his barend shifters stolen (along with a bunch of other stuff).

Edit: to borrow.

Buy or borrow? Theyre not fancy but I have a novatec diablo 26" tubeless mtb wheelset thats rarely used. 9mm and 10mm QR through axle, disc only, with racing ralphs. Youre welcome to borrow for a couple weeks if you just want to get rolling.

OOPS
Bent it out with some pliers, trailside. It made a solid hop in the wheel with two rattly spokes, but held solid to shred for 3+ hours at Banner Forest afterwards.
So, anybody got a disc compatible 29er/cyclocross rear wheel they don't need? Current set up is one speed on a shimano cassette compatible hub.

i have a pretty junky old shogun in about that size. needs to have some parts put back on. standard old 105 japanese universal bike style, downtube shifters i think. its yours for a 6 pack if you can pick it up and reassemble. i'll be back in seattle on the 23rd if you're interested.

Hey Alex and/or Key Lime (or anyone else):
I'd be interested in acquiring a set of 8 speed bar-end shifters; I seem to recall that one or both of you (or someone else) might have a pair for sale or trade.
thanks!

Looking for an erect stem (teehee), something along the lines of the VO Happy stem or Cigne. 1-1/8 threadless, clamp can be most anything #shimlyfe.

Aaaalso looking for a rear hub, 32h, 135 QR spacing, and if I had my druthers it would be polished silver and also disc brake compatible.

Some swept back handlebars in black, 31.8 preferred, but I think I have a 25.4 stem in the parts bin. Looking for something in range of Some Osprey or anything similar.
Willing to pay cash, beer or trade for a carbon fiber handlebar that came with my new bike

My co-worker is looking for a new-to-him commuter bike. Anything less than 34 years old will be an upgrade!
He's 5'9", and prefer a more upright riding position. Needs to be able to carry both rear rack and fenders. He's willing to spend up to $1,000, but would be happy to spend less.

i'm possibly thinking of selling my 2013 Charge Mixer 8. the internal geared hub is damnable heavy to carry up and down three flights of stairs to and fro my apartment.
