My boat is full for the day. I hope one of you has a crab license as I will also drop a few pots within kayak distance of where you'll camp. The first bait drop is on me, If one of you wants to bring some bait to drop to keep it fresh throughout the day go for it. I think if Scotts zodi doesn't sink on the way over it would make a nice little crab tender for you guys IMO.

As I haven't made any kayak or sailboat arrangements, I'm thinking of ponying up for the Argosy boat ride. Any suggestions on what departure and return times I should choose?

Kayaks and sailboats should arrive late morning or early afternoon. Normally we eat a lazy breakfast and head out. So something that works with those vague times. Of course having to spend a little extra time on the beach isn't such a bad thing.

You should make sure that you have some contact info to figure out where we've ended up. The current plan is for the primitive sites which are a 1.5-2 mile walk from the ferry.

whoever gets there first try and snag both of the southern camp spots. we only have 4 or 5 kayakers this year, and we won't be able to pack everyone into the kayak trail spots on the north end. those southern spots will be tight on tents but should give us room to be loud and have sailboats right out front. it's an easy walk to the marina area for lounging on nicer beach and playing yard games in the grass.

justin, my brother is meeting up at the kayak start. he's riding a double boat with my nephew. i just gave him your phone number. make him feel at home. i don't think 'nut punch' is the type of welcome that will make him feel happy though.

my boat doesn't have a cool name but it's Aluminum and says 'lund' on the side with blue accents. Has a blue canvas fold up top and two downrigger mounting posts aft, and the helm is starboard with a 15hp newer black merc.
