I'll probably be up for a Blake Round II in August.

"After work" will most likely be 9pm. Not gonna make a 10 mile trip that late.

And August is going to be a busy month for me, especially towards the end.

is 8" x 8" ish a possibility? around that size, i wouldn't complain if a little bigger. thanks alex. holler if you need some money for material/time. i'd really dig 2 vinyls if it was a possibility? not sure how much of a pain in the ass these are to make. would like one for both sides

I can do 8x8. Material is 12x24", so optimizing the most stickers per sheet is a goal. So I might shrink them a bit to like 7x7, because 5x5 is a more useful second size than 4x4.

Working on seeing if I can secure a rowboat for the trip. As a PLAN B, I also make a great deckhand. I'm good at handing out beers, looking majestic, and I know how to tie a bowline. I also have a seaworthy beard.

The Raccoon (yes!) passed night one of air holding test. things are looking positive.

As of now I am the only Kayaker. Ryan likely can't come because he off work right before. However, Ryan has invited his boss, which could be awesome or could get him fired, so if the boss comes then ryan and I will likely be kayaking over Friday. I have been advised to not paddle solo if Ryan is out so it would be good for me to know soon if I need to find a back up ride.

I'm leaving Friday night, I think Henry/Amanda/Dorothy Rose is doing the same. It sounds like everyone else is on Saturday.

Jake: If you do go early on Friday I could loan you a dinghy if you wanted to leave your boat on the mooring ball by those spots. The hard part is getting those spots and the two associated mooring balls. I don't expect this though, hanging out on Blake Island solo waiting for everyone to show up isn't the most exciting way to spend a day.

Gracie: Are you trying to go Friday or Saturday? Check with Andrew, Lutra may have space on Saturday. I think I'm full (assuming ChristineWr doesn't kayak over). I know Dorothy Rose is full. Don't forget that you can also take the ferry. Christine was looking for people to kayak with her.

Eric is legally allowed to use the WWTA (aka kayak) sites for his motorless beach sailboat, but I don't know if that is his intention or not. Note that we can hang out on the beach (which isn't associated with the campsites) as much as we want.

The tides are not great for big expansive beaches. On Saturday low tide is at 10:30 am and high is at 5:51pm. It's a very low low (-3 feet), but it is also a pretty tall high tide at 12 feet.

I dont mind leaving Friday or Saturday. Oh, and the 'ferry' ride is $40 with Argosy Cruise. Not sure I want to drop that kind of cash.
