dealing with the news can be tricky sometimes.
they might be doing a nice story on alternative transportation and people actively living the lifestyle, or they could be doing a piece about angry cyclists that hate cars.. never know which angle they might go with it.
id say go for it, see whats up with them, invite them out to westlake at 7, bring some cameras. see what they are wanting to do a story on.
would probably be fun either way.

google seems to indicate that mr. haeck's other two biggest stories have been about a guy who wants to get rid of the dumpsters in the alleys downtown (because they are a haven for crack smoking, prostitution, and . public urination?) and a ufo guy in mount vernon.
