sorry to be the voice of dissent, but i was kinda hoping for, y'know, a bike ride last night. when 9:00pm rolled around and my odometer for the evening was sitting squarely at 7.2 miles, i'd had enough and went home. if i wanted to spend an evening sitting outside shivering and not biking, i could have done that on my own patio.

glad the rest of y'all seemed to have a good time, though.

I drank entirely too much last night. Too much PBR that is. TOday I'm all sorts of pukey and didn't make it to work until noon. Crime of all, I drove downtown! I feel dirty.

The trip was fun though, and the CIP was some awkward therapy.

I was in a foggy grog all day long. Doing inventory at the bike shop. Then Andre and Paul came by to brighten my day. It was funny to see Andre as groggy as me! Paul was his normal self! I love that pic of him and Sarah falling off the tandem!

Yes, Scotty, we normally do more miles. Last night was fun for me, even if I did drink way too much, thanks to our favorite Microsoft employee. Us, West Seattle folk, got an honest 25 miles in at the end of the night.

Next Week Ride Idea: Top of Queen Anne, tour view points, then off to Alki Beach for Pizza at Pegasus.

I finally downloaded my fancy heart rate monitor gizmo from Thurs night's ride. I wore it for almost 8 hours. I don't think Polar had .83 rides in mind when they designed it. Lots of downtime lifing a cup, glass, or nalgene bottle interspersed with rides uphill. I think my average was 92. Pay no attention to the altitude numbers. I have to figure out how to reset it.
