i always see those and think to myself that if i find one on clearance cheap enough i might pick one up.. then i go and pick one of the metal ones up and realize that the weight is so minimal i can barely even notice it when i balance them both in my hands

then i realize that i have a pile of metal ones in my basement in different colors that i have stripped off of bikes and i then put both of them down and back out of the bike store and try to only buy what i really need, which is usually just some replacement tubes

i poop out and eat in a few pounds a day. thats my weight savings. i just poop before i go riding
