RIDE AND REPENT!

a) My knee is fux0rd from crashing a week ago. I thought it would be ok, but with riding all over West Seattle on Monday and all over North Seattle on Tuesday, and going up and down Queen Anne a bunch in the midst of all that, it is irritated as all hell.
b)I have two apartments to check out tonight. The first one is hopeful, the second one is probably a waist of my time, what with my credit and all.
c)It's been raining a bit all day. I was lead on by the nice days we've had recently and didn't prepare for a rainy day. Blue jeans and a cotton hoodie are not sufficient for wet weather riding.
d)I am a spandex-clad weekend-warrior jackass who(m) Joby hates.
e)I have to be at work at 630 tomorrow morning. A ride like tonights will likely have me out and about until 2, and with all that riding around plus climbing up Queen Anne at the end, there's no way I'd be getting up at 830 to make it at my regular time, let alone the super early 630 time that I have to be in tomorrow.

It's a sad, sad day in Deanville. I was actually planning on stealing back all the glasses we return and everything, but oh well. I'll wait until I have an apartment to furnish.

we fall. literally half a block from my house and hope for scabs rather than infections. Awesome ride tonight, at least from my perspective.

i think i had 25 or 30 miles on last night. great ride

we moved quick last night. our stops were quick, and we kept a fast clip in between them. my legs were aching when i cut off.

Yes, we did make it to Earl's. Then we made it out of Earl's, and to the Knarr. Thank god.

Earls. god. next time we go there, i'm going to do the world a favor and burn that shithole to the ground.

the only people who may complain are Joby and Ben because they are the only ones that finished drinks.

it has nothing to do with the drinks (though i did have some of jobys long island *barf*).

it's the whole meathead fratboy thing. maybe uncle aaron was in his element there, but i have no time or interest in shitholes like that. the drunk guy trying to open my bag without me noticing (good thing velcro is nice and loud) didn't help matters any.

yeah, i can really see the allure of going back there. i can't for the life of me understand why they're shutting down. i'd rather jab my corneas out with a salad fork then go back.
