I know you pointythrees love the Middle Fork. Check this out - if you get to the end of the road (Taylor creek / Middle Fork intersection), you can hike to Snoqualmie Lake, but it's 10 miles each way. Bullshit, right? Well, guess what, you can ride your bike the first 6 miles, pass all the chumps who are just gonna turn around anyway, and have yourself a grand old time in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness.
I did this as an afternoon trip to beat the heat, but you could bring overnight gear too. The first two beaches at the lake had room for 2-4 tents each. They're spectacular. There are probably more beaches further out, and there's even a special lake for Lee. It looks like Deer Lake and Bear Lake are just up the trail, too.
Fat street tires and full fenders did just fine. Platform pedals + walkin' shoes recommended. Bring a cable lock to secure yer bike.
Weekdays not recommended, they blastin' err'body out here.
But, you can play with their tank!
And their disk-brake-wheelbarrow!
I'm sure at least one of you will know what to do with this...
