Posted: Wed Nov 24, 2010 1:52 pmI rode my single-speed mtn bike downtown today. With the tires deflated it worked perfect in the snow/slush/ice.
Only drawbacks are that top speed is about 4 MPH and it feels like running in quicksand.

The split ring that holds it on got spread apart by ice, the gap is 10x bigger than it's supposed to be:
Luckily I had the fender off for snow clearance, so the wobble wasn't a problem, and it fell off right down the trail from Counterbalance so I got a replacement immediately.
