I took some pictures:

Just figured out why my battery got tuckered out, fucking 18 minute video of my shirt pocket from the RC track to the Monroe Safeway.
First dinner — orzo pasta in vegetarian consomme with mushrooms, green onions, and parsley; breaded okra fried in butter; and extra-fat sour cream:
Second dinner — a reprise of kalebasa, x2:
I made 20 butter-fried biscuits in the morning too but my battery had died by then.

I rescued an unwashed metal camp plate, fork and spoon. The spoon doubles as a gizmo that can field strip a MSR stove.
It's already pretty funky, you'd do well to pick it up from me sooner rather than later.
Thanks for being born, Ben! Big up to Christian for the awesome tarp setup.

He wouldn't let us get rad, micro-machines only :(
Keeping it real Wreyford:
Morning wreckage, Lee tidied up before going to bed despite our protestations that we need to see the fruits of our labors to truly know guilt:
Christian is the master of all he surveys, including toiletry:

Well Ben, it looks like your country won. I guess you'll have to organize the next one next year...

But you put up such a good fight!
You'll have to last beyond dusk next time

Oh yeah, and the Greenings..
I've decided to give them Crown d'Or. Worst trip I've ever been on.

My bike-camping virginity has been taken and boy was it wet...
I had a shit ton of fun but my legs hurt so much that I can barely make it up the stairs on all fours...
Many thanks to all that were involved in planning!
Here are some pretty crappy iPhone snapshots:

I didn't take many photos and I'm not a particularly good photographer but what I've got is here:

Most interesting visual for me was Saturday night, walking back to my tent without a flashlight. It was so dark that I couldn't see trees or the bushes, but when I stood still long enough, all the tents and bike wheels started to stand out, glowing. I was able to use them as a guide to get back to my tent.
Like standing on a sea of darkness, with a path defined.
It was trippy.
