santarchy 2005 seattle!

ive been trying to join up with this for years. i always have a santa costume and use it at every available opportunity. id heard rumors about these people doing this but didnt know for sure if they did it in seattle

meeting this saturday in ballard. bring a santa costume, and chaos will ensue. a giant pile of santas will be going all over the city causing hell. ill be doing it with my trusty bicycle.

if anyone wants to go (in as much santa gear as you can jumble together) ill be meeting up there at the start

The plan is to meet at 12 noon at the Ballard Smoke Shop (5439 Ballard Ave NW), and to end up at Consolidated Works (500 Boren Avenue N) for the SeaCompression party in the evening. But the Santa Planners are a smart and thoughtful group, and they'll be providing a list of stops and times so you can catch up with the fun at any time of the day. We'll post the plan when it's available.

we saw them last year in vancouver bc, there was nearly 200 santas of all kinds in a tiny bar. they spilled out into the street. o it looked like so much fun. i'll be there!

i have to be a "drunken santa" for pictures at my girls christmas party on friday. so ill have my costume all ready to go. (and probably still half on)

justin, you want to meet me there on a bike too? i think the majority of them go by bus around town, but they should be handing out a schedule. we can bike around and meet them in each place

and the more santas on bikes we have going around, the less stupid we will feel.

if anyone needs a costume. you can probably get away with just a hat and wearing LOTS of red.

if you want a cheap costume, display and costume at northgate has some cheapies for like 25 bucks. champs downtown near minnies will probably have some cheapies too

i have one extra santa set up if anyone wants it. first person that finds me that needs it can borrow it. its a cheapish one, but will do the job good. has no belt or wig, but has hat, coat, and santa pants.

if anyone (langston? justin?) want to ride over together from the u district, ill be at the College Inn at say 1120 or so. leaving by 1130 at the latest. i want to make sure we get there before they all jet out.

BOOYA. this is going to be awesome fun.
someone bring a camera? my batteries are dead right now and i cant find my charger

Well. Bad News!

Rolled out this morning to do that commuter thang, and I wasn't just drunk on Saturday night, my bike really is messed up.

I bent up the frame pretty good! Ca't quite tell if it is the headtube or the downtube, or hell even the top tube but it is all sorts of dancy and unstable. Aaron, can I bring 'er out in the next couple days for an inspection?

The rest of my shit is really sore too. I've got some real sexy bruising on my right quad/ass I'd love to share.

shitty about the bike. if yours is trashed we can probably find another frame around to get all your stuff swapped onto

i made out with only a sore bruised knee. justin tripped me up good with a swift kick as i was running away with his girlfriends stolen cap pistol

i consider myself lucky thats all i hurt :)
