yeah, i vote for sulphur! way better, off the road, farther out and less people, better river access. that's where im headed. of the times i've gone to suiattle i've stayed at downey once and sulphur 3

if i see anyone saturday morning camping at downey im going to steal your tent poles and they will be waiting for you at sulphur

i'm also a huge fan of Sulphur Creek, despite its best attempt to kill a bunch of us last summer (i also like the proximity to the river). but, during the last suiattle trip, deven hiked up to sulphur and relayed that it is in much worse shape this year. given that he made the original post and is the birthday boy, perhaps we should default to his better judgment?

i just read kevins post about it. just overgrown? nothing we can't fix. it's overgrown every year we use it and it's usually just grasses in camp areas. stomp it down.
