News: Goldies has been run by the old Goldies owners since around four months ago. Apparently it got taken over by someone who didn't know how to run the place, then quickly got re-taken over by the original owners. I told the manager how we don't like all those lights up there, we like a dance stage, not a performance stage. She obliged, and agreed to basically do whatever we want because she's an awesome lady and remembers us. I made it clear that I was just being honest on how much we loved the place for particular reasons (lower lights in the stage area, some room to dance without five tables presents, etc...), and wasn't making her feel obligated to do anything. But she said she remembered working in the kitchen when we used to visit, and agreed with everything I said, hoping we'd return with the same enthusiasm we used to...even though it's now called Bogart's...

The new karaoke guy wasn't as good as the old one, but he was alright. We still got it done.
