Woolie .83 Jerseys

I feel like it's time for more wool in my life, and will be fronting the cash for an order through . They offer substantial discounts in bulk though, so I want to open this up to the rest of you.
I'll be at the ride Thursday with samples of each jersey as done up for my LBS. I have worn one of their shirts since May and am really happy with their quality, but the wool flocks about a half size down so order a size up and wash in woolite unless you're the skinny jeans type.
How much interest is out there?

true. I've got a red XL that is the largest I've bought, and you can try that on for size, as it has shrunken easily to a size L. At the same time, I think I have expanded to a size L+.

I only have one short sleeve jersey from Oregon Cyclewear, it is a medium and just a teensy bit too tight in the shoulders & chest (but not too bad). Fits great around the stomach though.
Unless you are smaller than I am I would definitely suggest getting larger than a size medium.
If anyone wants to try it on I can bring it Thursday.

I'm definately in for an Extra Medium or two. (XL for moi please - maybe an XXL)
If we're making .83 ones - I'm voting for black with white logo. I'm interested in one long sleeve and one short. If it must say something, let it be "Never pull out!" or "Beers, Bikes, Bad Decisions - what could go wrong?"

I'd be down with chipping in for a oool embroidered logo. They can do that there. IIRC, the embroidering is $13 per shirt, plus a onetime setup fee for a graphic.
And the bulk discount works with any variety of styles or colors, so long as the lettering is the same. Adding your name costs extra.

In for a Large. My Recycled Cycles jersey is lonely.

I'm likely in for a large, I need a jersey that isn't RAGBRAI related.

I'd like to see samples. The one that I owned before was very thick, like heavy sweater thick, but not very dense. That combo wasn't very useful to me in Seattle. It sounds like Joe has had better luck.
I really like the customized Sugio wool jersey that I have, but I think they are discontinuing them. They are all over the REI Outlet right now and I don't see them on the Sugio website. It is also pretty thick, but the weave is dense enough that the wind doesn't blow through it. If those are still available custom I'd be into a point83 one. I wear this one all the time mountain biking, it is the black and grey jersey that says Engin Cycles.

I'll bring along a couple of my jerseys on Thursday - the XL red and a size L black. Both of them are post shrinkage.

sugoi jerseys? I have one and it's OK. the wind blows through pretty well, but that's good because it's pretty warm at a standstill. the oregon cyclewear jerseys are basically sweaters with rear pockets, which is fine if one needs a sweater. if we need super dense any weather wool jerseys, I hear the wabi woolens ones are pretty heavy but I've never tried one out because: expensive.
It sounds like the OC jerseys shrink up and you could probably wash and tumble dry to make it less permeable. I'd buy a size or two large if you do that.

Not having boobs, I cannot answer that question. However, I have given away a couple of my too-shrunken jerseys to friends. I'll solicit their opinions and report back.

I would like to applaud the direction this thread has suddenly taken, re: boobs in wool jerseys.
Joe, shut the fuck up.
As you were.

I'm going to be at WLC approximately 1900, and I'll try to get a full run of sizes but it will involve me calling in a favor from the LBS. Please don't screw me over and damage a sample shirt.
In other words, be early, be clean, and be gentle.
