Here it is, the one and only
as you may have gathered this years race is a poker run so you'll be gathering cards at each stop of the race and whoever has the best hand wins.
this means anyone can win! it also means you'll be asked to .
and like any boys night worth it's salt, winner takes all.
there's also more betting and hopefully someone running the numbers, so extra ones couldn't hurt.
there will also be trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 1st lady.
the race is my kind of race: short, easy, downhill, muddy, and boozy!
after the muddy shenanigans we'll ride to the for more disastering, White elephant gift exchange, this years clappies, rock with roll, and party times.
Starts at roughly 8:30
and as always, the spirit award is up for grabs.
shitty sweater/santa suits/disaster pants are strongly strongly encouraged/required.
Rain or shine: All the stops and destinations are sheltered, fired and boozed, so don't be deterred by a little class 5 shit storm. it can't be worse than last year!
What to bring:
a light
a bike you can ride on a gravel trail
newbs
$5 in ones!
a bikey white elephant gift (something decent from your parts bin)
beer!
poor judgement
costumes
christmas lights
and as always, send you complaints to Mr. Derrick A. Clark

If you are looking to save your strength or avoid riding up Delridge the 120 and 125 Metro routes will serve you well.

If you still wanna pedal but not ride Delridge, stay to the east, you climb up a steep hill in the beginning but stay on quieter streets (21st and 16th).

Hmmm...should I wear the gauntlets for this? They are, really, only for battle and glory. All for the low price of $29.95!

For that matter, is anyone available to transport my white elephant from the North End to the Tug? I might be bothered to bring my wife's old Cannondale frame, but not if I have to carry it on my back to West Seattle.

I played the gift mule last year. I guess I could do that again and man a checkpoint for you Ben.
Greg: Since I also live in the northend I could even do a northend pickup for you.

Thanks for the offers, folks, but I believe Alex and I have worked out a plan (plus his house is way closer to mine).

checkpoint people, please rendezvous at Big Al Brewery, and then you can prolly hop a ride to you're location. you'll all be within walking distance from the finish.
I am fucking excited and there is nothing you can do about it.

and don't forget, the ever venerable clappies are only a week away, so now's you last chance for some horse cock drama!
