since i wasn't able to get to the race/party last night, i decided to go for a "short" run on my own this morning that ended up being a 33 mile version of the south lake washington loop. gorgeous day except for what i've offically dubbed the HOLY FUCK GONNA KILL YOU headwind going south from seward park all the way to the south end of the airfield. seriously, coasting down a good hill and SLOWING DOWN due to the damn wind. then hitting flat, pedaling for all i'm worth, and barely pushing 13 mph. gah. thighs feel like rubber this evening.
still, nice sunny day, pretty warm, i can't believe it's december, etc.

I'm glad to hear you got some miles in!
My right hamstring cramped up today, first cramp in a few years. Damn races followed by 4 hours of drinking.
