I got to Bothell from Cap Hill in an hour once. 5 years ago, when I was 20lbs lighter, and was in "shape".

If it's any comfort, barring any piercings or amputations, you're in the same shape topologically as you were 5 years ago.

This is a pretty good illustration of how computer folks tend to value theoretical knowledge versus empirical.
I've had quite a few people scoff that it takes me around 8 hours to bike to Bellingham. They say "what? I can ride my bike around 20mph, so it should have taken you only five hours!". Right..

From last summer I know that I can get from Issaquah to Westlake in an hour. Although my speed drops at night or in the rain.
