Fixie Friendly 25-50 mile routes? Fix it, repair it, how do I do it, what's the best part to use, and now: how do I get there?

from the hill to the bus station near the Paramount Theater. Take the 510 all the way to Everett, follow the Interurban back to town. ~40 miles, most of it level or downhill-ish. Or from Everett, take the Old River Road out to Monroe and enjoy rolling through farmlands alongside the river

There really isn't anywhere short of going up into the mountains you should be afraid to go on a fixed gear. Give yourself plenty of time and anticipate needing snacks and you'll be fine.

To UW via the advised bike route. On the Burke Gilman. A stop at the top of Kite Hill in Gas Works. Through Fremont and Ballard to the Locks. Over the locks and over the trestle. Half of the Magnolia Bomb. Down Nickerson. Through the Westlake parking lots. Through Eastlake via the waterfront roads. Back to home via Boyer.

It's all really flat and should be pretty enjoyable. To add 5 or so more miles you could head to Downtown Seattle once you're at the bottom of the Magnolia Bomb at the corner of 20th ave W and Dravus.

Pinkzilla dont let thjse asshols make you sad or give you to to hard a time only the coolest people ride the fixed gear biycles and they are just jealous becase tehy are not as cool as you and i are.

i ahve a fixedgear mongose bike i made up my self and ride everwhere except when i have to drive to some places. you should let me know if you want to go on a ride or just like hang out and chill and stuff i do live down in tacoma but i dive my van up to seattle all the time to ride bikes and hang out and stuff you could have a ride in my radvan and chill with me

seriously, when I was still a fatty mc fatterson like Shanelees or Henry I would ride around myrtle edwards out to the ballard locks and then back towards the u, which gives you lots of trails and flats. To get back south, you can take eastlake, which is a bit of a climb, especially when you get to the hutch, or you can take westlake back to downtown (but watch out for tracks!)

best way back over the hill is jackson to MLK i guess, and I think cherry is probably the easiest to get you to the top of madrona. I've done all this on my slightly less than uber hip fixed gear, but then again, I go climb hills for fun sometimes.

we just get alittle sassy from time to time.

but seriously, if you don't already have one, you should get one of them there new fangled bike maps. they are the handy, with little arrows for the hills and everything.

just give them a call and they'll mail one to you for free. ($240mil - $3 = $240mil)
