There's one more bike shop downtown, actually.
, inside of Bikestation.
It's up at the front instead of hidden away in the back like the old shop (Pioneer Bikes?). Lots of tires and accessories for sale plus a frame or two and some rims.

love the name.
jra = just riding along
as in, "i was just riding along when all of a sudden my rear tire turned into a slew of demonic gremlins that cut every one of my driveside spokes.
what? no, of course i didn't mess with the limit screws and wedge my chain in there."

Honestly, it would be shitty if EBB closed down. They're the only shop in town that my shop considers competition, but we don't want them to close. We like the fact that this town can support more than one shop to do custom handmade frames. I think it says something great about Seattle that EBB and R&E can coexist and do well. I hope this rumor is bunk.

also, EBB sells nicer non-custom frames than R&E does, and has a lot of selection of ready to ride bikes.
