my GF got some bright-ass orange jagwire brake cable housing from Niki.
I was running the housing yesterday and when I cut it, it looked more like shifter cable housing than brake cable housing. No packaging. The cable came as a pre-cut length with both ends already in crimped ferrules.
Does Jagwire make brake housing like this?

So you can see multiple other strands in the cut cross section? That would be SIS shift housing then. Shift housing can ben either 4mm or 5mm, brake housing is typically 5mm now a days. So if the shift housing was 5mm I can see how the mix up may have happened.

I checked out jagwire's website though, and apparently this is the design for their special (and expensive) brake housing though. I find this weird.

Just be careful to avoid Jagwire's teflon coated cabling. It will shift and brake smooth for about a month before all the teflon flakes off and gums up your housing.
