Denise, you and Jim are more than welcome to come out on any of the camping trips you see posted up on the forums. Last year some combination of .83 riders went on at least one camping trip per month May-October.
In case you have not found the Rivendell site and Grant Petersen's bike camping philosophy you should check it out.
They do lots of one night camping that Grant dubbed s24o's (sub-24hr-outing). It's pretty basic, which is the point, letting it get too complicated makes it harder to do and less fun.

Denise,
Beware! If you go camping with this group, you may find yourself alone in the wilderness with the infamous "Joe Ball." He's kind of like the Sasquatch, but drunker and he carries a fuck-yeah saw and won't stop until every downed tree limb is cut and stacked for firewood.
Plus he tackles people randomly.

Reason # 1 why I didn't come back for more. I get into too much trouble hanging out with you boys. I just ride during mornings now, longer rides and I don't do hard liquor anymore, but I do like lots of beer still. Just not mixed together with a bike ride, unless it is close by to my place. Yes, I am now old as hell!!!
And since I broke my humerus, I have broken my foot, my toe and my back. Lucky me!!
