and i second what a few others have said. have all the colors velocity deep Vs are available in and 47t for skid patch awesomeness because vittoria randonneurs wear out hella faster than brake pads.

i think the problem was asking for a "fixie" crank. the fixed gear scene isn't particularly known for innovation.

as far as bicycle parts go, i think innovation for it's own sake is more often than not a bad strategy. over the last hundred plus years, it's probably already been thought of and didn't work. that's not fully true - the threadless headset is a perfect example of something that is just plain better than what it replaced (other than aesthetics). but there's definitely a sense that innovation for it's own sake leads you down dark paths.

I was thinking about this some more. What is really needed is not new cranks, but some really high tech chain rings to fix 'dead spots' in the pedal cycle.
