1. yes, but accidents happen. this can't happen if you aren't putting pressure on it, especially laterally. Period. there is no arguing this, it is a fact.
2. you are correct, but you could just as easily prop it up with the mini floor pump, as it can function as a horizontal pump as well. true it does hold more per stroke.
3. bull shit. we both know it's a bitch getting a tire up to 100psi regardless of what pump you're using. and i'm pretty sure we can agree that having a little extra help from gravity is a good thing.
also, i've had 2 frame pumps, one was stolen, and one fell off somewhere, i assume a bike pile.
innovation, it often is a good thing.
