WTB: two forks... Fix it, repair it, how do I do it, what's the best part to use, and now: how do I get there?

Hello all..

I'm looking for two forks.

Both: Steel. Lugged. 1" threaded. 27" (standard?) road wheels.

I'm not exactly sure how to obtain the proper measurements, so i just measured the head tube ( from cup to cup )

one is: 8 and 7/8" long. and the other is 6 and 7/8" long. ( inches I know..sorry ;)

I'm assuming the forks will need an additional inch or so for the headset n such..

I've checked moebius, 20/20, recycled cycles, craigslist, and some crazy old coot on 12th/howell to no avail..

Still kinda new at this so please feel free to call me out on anything I may have missed :D
