don't?
health insurance, to start.
Brakes front and rear. Ignore popular fashion and use handlebars with more than one hand position. Don't try to skimp on real wheels and use a suicide-hub, it will fail and you will fall on your face/arm. Go over the headset and bottom bracket while you're tearing apart a perfectly good road bike, they'll fight you less once you're lashed to the rear wheel.
Red light is a great place for skinny jeans and neckerchiefs.

that looks like a great bike to me as is. not so high end that you're worried about banging it up, but good all around steel frame and time tested components.

I'll have to speak loudly to be heard over the hooting of these monkeys
Hey guy!
The reason you're getting bullshit answers is because you aint tellin us specifically what kinda suggestions you're lookin for!
Come ride bikes and buy us beer/whiskey/tacos and we're more likely to talk to you (instead of around you)!
Thats really a nice frame, if you want to be a real fixie kid, go with pink anondized everything and you'll be fine
and you only need one good front brake - I promise
What size is that thing?
It looks tall, with a short top tube, just the way I likes em.
I will buy it from you when you give up on it.

I'm in tears here almost, don't fixie it if it ain't broken.
Seriously, you have a nice ride right there, gears are coming back in style, people are dumping their fixies, buy used you get a lot of value out of it to considering most fixed gears were assembled in the last 2 or 3 years.
That Bridgestone looks pretty tall, here is a tall guy Surly you should think about getting instead.

seriously, just get a cheap-o mc fixie and ride the crap out of that bridgestone. that bike is hot. or take the money you'd be spending on a fixie and just fix up the bridgestone with some new parts.

Captain Nick has a plenty nice bike already.
I'll help you ruin this perfectly good bicycle.
first: a rear wheel
secondly: get rid of that rear reflector.
thirdwise: pick out your gear ratio, get the corresponding cog/chainring/chain combination
fourthleroy: get some white double straps and white Soma Oppy XX clips.
quintuvitably: You will want to invert your handlebars after neutering them. The upward angle will give it an erect look to counteract the effect of having been shortened.
sextintially: TehSchkott is a total douche.
septimatious: SurlyKat is a poor squid, give her the aerobars.
octivant: New saddle
nueve: Donate those drivetrain components to the needy.
We can discuss this if you are riding tomorrow.

You hurt my feelings when you say that sort of stuff. Sheesh.
In all seriousness Nick, if you want to borrow my fixie for a bit to figure out your gear ratios and what feels good, you're welcome to. I never ride it. It's a 56 or so.
