GT Zaskar frame Older alloy GT Zaskar frame in good condition. Same one that Hans Rey used to ride.
Brake studs for cantilever, V-brake, magura, etc. Not U-brake. No major dents. A couple minor ones (very small, lentil size). The underside of the down tube has the usual pattern of tiny dings from stuff kicked up from the trail. The drive side chain stay has some chain suck scars and the other chainstay has some scrapes near the dropout from a crash. Overall its in great shape for a frame of its age. It has not been ridden in 15+ years.

Hey I'm new here but I'm friends with Derrickito and Paul and they told me to post this here. I have this mid-80s Peugeot with mostly Japanese components that I cleaned up and am trying to sell because I just don't have the room for it. The only issue I see with it is that the front wheel needs truing, but it's got a brand new chain, tires, brake shoes and bar tape. Oh yeah, the wheelset is a 27.5".

I have a 55 cm Bianchi Volpe that needs a home. This is the bike I previously posted about finding ditched in a neighbors yard on my commute home. I finally got it out of his garage this past weekend to get the S/N. The stolen bike database did not have a record of of the serial number.

The bike has a few issues. Needs tires/tubes & either presta inserts or schrader tubes. Dents in seat tube & top tube. Needs tuning & probably cables & pads. There is a rear alloy rack that is slightly bent--could be fixed, but I wouldn't take it on an expedition after rebending it.

Here's the deal: the bike is free, but I'd prefer it go to someone who _needs_ a bike. I helped my friend EM get a free shit-cycle rolling so she could do bike to work month and this would be a perfect upgrade for her--except that she would ride more like a 51 cm frame.

I finally found the other . With the pair of AAA rechargeables, the seatstay and seatpost mount, $5 to person(s) who could say they'll find much use of it. If the batteries stay juicy, it's very nice.

If the light is lashed to the mount (I've done it with a shoelace) and the hardware is replaced with something including an allen socket/hex screw, nut, some spacers, and lockwashers, so it can be fastened a bit tighter, it gets the job done.

Kogswell P/R 700c, 64cm. $350.

65mm fork rake (runs out to about 40mm trail on this bike - great for front baggage)

this bike fits more like a 62cm frame, with plenty of standover. the main production flaw (the bottom head-tube extenstion) was corrected by a framebuilder.

it comes with a semi-custom porteur rack.

price includes frame, fork, headset, brakes (tektro CR-720), aluminum fenders (for tires up to 700x35) and the front rack.

Overall, it's a sweet touring bike - lively when unloaded, but can haul a shitload of firewood/beer/miscellaneous stuff when you want it to. Ask around - a few other pointythrees can testify as to how great this bike is. Note that fork and rack would make a great addition to your long haul trucker or cross check - you just have to take the frame with you as well.
