got a shitty old trailer for free. anybody have hitch ideas/experience?
I haven't measured that square tubing up front, but it's about one inch.

The pdf looks alright, but I don't know about the hitch on it. I think I've preferred the look of a . I bought a pile for when I get a welding situation fixed up in my current garage but haven't tried it yet. Good to .

Cranked Issue #4 has details on the hitch Denny made for the idiot-a-rod shopping cart.
it was pretty simple. I can't scan the page, but maybe someone (Denny) has pics.

huh i guess picasa doesn't like hotlinking. well, i put the url above anyhow.
the blue sky hitch design is really nice for a simple trailer. the only thing i did was replace the cotter pin assembly with some captive pins - too many drunk nights looking around the yard for that little damn pin.

Blue Sky says it is one of theirs. $12 for the hitch, $12 for a safety cable, $25 for a tongue, plus shipping.
