I'm looking at buying a friends steel frame Lemond Croix de Fer. It's a mix between ultegra and 105 and has only a few hundred miles on it, if that. He's asking for around $800. Anyone ever ridden one of these? I don't know much about Lemonds.

If good cycling technique is poetry in motion, mine's a dirty limerick.
