anyone have some stems laying around not being used?
the one that came with my bike is KILLING me.
i don't have calipers to measure stem diameter, are there different ones?
also, length, as in reach from saddle to bars is the issue.

of course my tape measure is standard only. god is laughing as i type.
i think that i only need to loose an inch or so for the cockpit to feel right.
other questions: i the clamp size for the bars a big deal? and i am guessing that i will have to remove at least 1 lever and re-wrap the bars?
roughly 4 7/8" center to center. the tape moved while i was taking the photo.
couldn't tell you what the angle is, but i like what it is.

Yeah it looked like a 120mm or 130mm stem when I looked at it last night. You might try a 100mm or 90mm extension and see if that treats you nice.

I should have a 10cm stem in that size if no one else does.
Note that you have the quill raised reasonably high. To get the bars to the same height you'll need a stem with a bit longer than normal quill, or a stem with a short quill by some rise.
You can laugh at my awful web programming skills while using this calculator to figure out how rise and quill height result in a given stem position:

I have one that's about a 90mm extension and up to a 145mm rise. It's for a 1" threaded headset and has a 25.4mm clamp.
Yours if you want it.
