So I just bought tickets to Barcelona. What's the best way to beg/borrow/steal a bike while I'm there and what are good places to cycle to?

Stealing bikes seems to be a national pass time in Spain, good luck with whatever you get. I have not had good luck renting quality bikes in Europe, they are either way over priced or junk. The best thing is to find the LBS in the area and ask them to see their "used" bikes. That is where my Olmo came from, it was in great condition and came with all the accesories for less than a week's rental price.

go to Morocco. pretty eyes, loud belching in any company, camels, infinite giant dunes, wild kittens everywhere like Mexico and dogs without the dog roadkill, and jump off a cliff at agudu in Melilla (ferry from Malaga, part of Spain) if anything.
