If the river was whiskey I'd turn myself into a duck, I'd dive to the bottom and never come up.

I rode the retro-direct bike that my friend Dan built when he worked at Bike Works. It was a fun bike. I'm glad someone else built one and let me ride it so that I don't feel too compelled to make one myself. I've been intruiged with them since reading the first edition of "The Dancing Chain".
Dan sold that bike a few months back, but I don't remember if it left Seattle or not.

I am probably alone when I say this; and I don't care. This is stupid, and impractical. Unless you have legs like a dog.
And how does pedaling backwards make a bicycle better for riding in the snow/cold?
