Just remember that if it's too old-like from the 80's-it probably has 27" wheels and canti studs that are positioned accordingly. That means you'll never be able to use 700c wheels on the bike unless you're will to have some brazing work done. If you don't mind the old wheel size though, you could use this as a bargaining point.
