Sub paragraph A of the TOS basic guidelines, RE: Beef

  1. All BEEF between members should be brought to the Forums for airing and resolution. Please do not try to work out BEEF between yourselves! You should have the means to craft your responses from the safety of a remote location, and without the pressure of being forced to communicate your feelings face to face with the member(s?) in question. The Internet is serious business, the Forums moreso than most. Maybe have a few drinks, loosen up, and then post your BEEF. Remember: Be as honest as you can! Bring your BEEF to us. This is the proper place to deal with it.
  2. Under no circumstances is BEEF to be dealt with offline or face to face! See rule number 1 for clarification.
  3. Objective 3rd party participation in such proceedings is not merely allowed, but encouraged. The less directly involved you are, the more we want to hear your feelings on the subject!
  4. Lengthy detailed replies are encouraged. It's important that you are clear about ALL your feelings on the Forums. Please feel free to use examples to illustrate your point. The substance and craft of such posts is not as important as emotive content and heartfelt appeal of your statements. If later you develop more feelings on the topic, please share them!
  5. Be bold! The Forums are a busy place, and unless you go out of your way to express yourself vigorously, your arguments might go unheard and unrespected!
  6. Text messages, email, PM, Instant Messenger, Twitter, and Facebook ARE suitable alternatives to talk about BEEF with other members. However, the Forums are the preferred venue for such transactions. If possible, "alternate" methods of internet communication should be used to supplement and stimulate conversation on the topic, not replace it. Everyone should have a chance to formulate and then communicate their feelings ON THE FORUMS. We cannot be clear enough on this point. Alternate methods of communication are inherently exclusitory and could impede the ability for everyone to weigh in on the topic.
  7. Conflict_resolution WILL be handled via the TOS. No exceptions.
  8. Sarcasm will not be tolerated.*

    • This is also rule 20 of the Basic_rules. Please familiarize yourself with them if you haven't by now.
